Where on Earth are you from?
We're from England.
Where you come from, do they put the kettle on?
Can I introduce you, please,
to a lump of cheddar cheese?
Knit one, pearl one.
Drop one, curl one.
You see, me and my mum and me dad and me gran
We're off to Waterloo.
All sounds very English doesn't it? You know what else is very English?
Me and my mum and me dad and me gran
With a bucket of vindaloo.
To anybody considering voting BNP on the 4th of June I say this. Britain is a country of fairness, of equality, a country of hope and of opportunity. Britishness is largely about tolerance, acceptance and then inclusion. We're a diverse nation, we always have been. There is no such thing as an 'indigenous briton' we are all mixed background. But what about the White, Anglo-Saxon? Well the hyphen there gives a lot away. Angles and Saxons - mixed. Britain and Britishness not only accepts other cultures, but the very essence of Britishness is dependent on them. What did Fat Les signify as two very 'English' character traits?
"... do you put the kettle on?"
"... a bucket of Vindaloo"
Tea and Curry. So foreign and yet eminently British.
There's nothing British about the BNP. Please vote in the elections on the 4th June. Many of you will know I'm a passionate Lib Dem but I really don't mind who you vote for - just please don't vote for the BNP if you want Britain to stay British.
