The Storyteller – Best Programme Ever Made by Man
- Title:
- Rating:
Uh Oh Spaghetti-ohs.
Bought another DVD instead of writing an essay, but this time it is better than The Princess Bride - it is the one and only, the most legendary televisual experience every known to man and to puppets: The Storyteller
I think this 'plot outline' is a pretty good explanation: An old storyteller and his sarcastic dog tell obscure fairytales.
"I am a teller of stories, a weaver of dreams. I can dance, sing, and in the right weather I can stand on my head. I have a little magic and a trick or two. I know the proper way to meet a Dragon, I can fight dirty but not fair, I once swallowed thirty oysters in a minute. I am not domestic, I am a luxury, and in that sense, necessary."
– how good is that?
I LOVE this series, once again, anyone is welcome to borrow it once I have been reunited with the best thing in the world…
Trolls, talking lions, children that turn into ravens, a boy that is also a hedgehog, a swamp full of terrible creatures and a ring-based plot that walks all over Tolkien's little tales.
