JIT

On Friday, we talked about so much about just in time, now I¡®d like to know more about it. The essence of JIT is maintain the material flow and information flow in production simultaneously in order to achieve a proper amount of material at the right time to enter the right place and produce right quality products. This approach can reduce inventory, shorten working hours, reduce costs and increase productivity. The basic idea of JIT production is only when needed, produce the products according to the required amount. Which is also a minimize production system with the pursuit of a non-stock, or inventory based on production planning and control. In this way, JIT can be driven by the order and link up the supply, production, and marketing closely to reduce material reserves, the cost of inventory and a significant reduction in the products, improve production efficiency. In the promotion of the application process, through constant development and improvement, JIT treated as the take off wings for Japanese auto industry. This production also drawn the attention of the world's industrial sector is seen as the most viable in today's new manufacturing production systems in the world. JIT idea is the core concept for production for modern enterprise which must strictly carry out, but the realization depends on specific business and production methods, there are only been explored in practice in order to establish their own JIT.
