Nowadays, position power is gradually being replaced by knowledge power. I think the Knowledge power comes from two aspects, one is expert power, it means the leader has the relevant technology and knowledge which can help to promote the organization's mission and won the respect of their subordinates; the second one is the model power, this is a unique individual with leadership personality. Knowledge power is more relying on the inner quality to influence and lead the subordinates to finish the assigned tasks. Such leadership requires that leaders are the coachers, examples, and cheerleaders. As a coach, the leaser should point out the vision which is a hope and a kind of energy. After that, the leader should help the employees develop skills. As a model, the leader should have the power to call the staffs. "Power of example is endless." Why employees willing to follow the lead toward a common vision to work hard, because the staffs trust the leaser¡¯s behavior and personality. The feeling of trust and respect can let the subordinates follow voluntarily. As a cheerleader, the leader should encourage and cheer staffs. When the staff is appreciative of the performance, express your praise clearly.
