Winning £85 at pub quiz! Rulers of all

I have the coolest entry to make at this hour of the night

Ive just come back from a night out with somefriends in leam. The plan was to go to a pub quiz at "baroque" in north leam, have a few drinks and maybe go out for some curry afterwards.

Well, that was the plan anyways.

I found out that on my team, composed of Matt, Nick, Nick, Chris, Alex and myself, Matt and Chris were mostly the brains of the evening.
It was so amazing! IT was like we knew (as a group) the most answers out of the whol pub! We were amazing!

Music, fire, general knowledge, films – we knew them all! No, really all of them.

Turns out Matt got really really tense and emotional just before winner was announced, around number 5.

And baby: WE WON THE PRIZE!!!! *WE WON THE PUB QUIZ!* WE WON THE £85 AS FIRST PRIZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Of course my contribution to The new title of Bridget Jones, the edge of reason, and King Kong, AND FENCING! was crucial!

We won at 70 points, well above the 2nd runner up at 66 or something!

We rule!

And then with the money we all went out to celebrate at the really good Paprika curry house! wow! What a night!

Tragedy of belonging

There is something so tragic about the sense of belonging that a person experiences in life. Perhaps not when they are actively experiencing it, but more when they are not;
when you feel that you dont belong, that is tragic.

Guys, its true, you don't know what you've got until its gone.

My muppet housemate Rob and his typical day

My housemate Rob really is a muppet.

Now, i really like him (Rob you know i do) however this entry is blogworthy of one of your typical days:

Rob woke up on Wednesday morning, and having been out late the previous night, decided to sleep a bit more.
When he woke up the second time he was late.

So he had breakfast. Very fast. No dishes. Not today. And he was already late for his only lecture that day.

So he grabbed his coat and bag and ran out to catch the bus.
But whilst waiting for the bus he realised he didnt have his buspass.
He couldnt get on the bus for his lecture without his buspass, the bus driver refused to have him on. He also didnt have his uni card. He didnt have his credit card. He didnt have any money either to get into uni, it was all in his wallet.
He didnt have his wallet. And he didnt have his keys.

So he ran to the bus deposit and asked desperately whether a wallet had been found the previous night or day. None was found.

And he was sure he hadnt been mugged.

So he ran back home to look for his wallet. He didnt have his keys.
And finally after a while someone opened his door. But no wallet was found in his room, kitchen, living room, bathroom or landing.

So out he went to cancel his card.

Out he went to the bank and in a second his card was annulled in case his wallet had been found by a nasty evil passerby.

Just to clear it up, he's missed his leture by now. So he's now waiting by his door for someone to open it after endless minutes of doorbell ringing.

He's tired.
He's depressed.
He's anguished.
He's out of his mind.

He's in his room. He has searched his room again after his housemate incite him to do so. Nothing.

He goes for a drink of water on his nightstand. He looks at the alarmclock to check the time…
behind the alarmclock quietly and undisturbed his wallet. Untouched since the night before.

Maybe.

Maybe its just the fall, but why does my head hurt like hell right after i come home?
Could it be because i've just had a computer lab_? Followed by a trip home to Leam? Followed by a stronger headache? Followed by some Finance reading and questions?_

h4. If its not what you are made of

There are some things in life around you that you just don't accept.

Im talking about the real things, the things that really matter, that you know you do not want anything to do with; some people would link this to expectations, ethics, decency, foundations of life or general experience.
If what you are facing does not meet certain standards of you life, your rules or your hopes then you, hopefully, decide that you dont want anything to do with it.

Why do we settle for less?

This can be staying in a friendship that is only bringing you anguish, staying with someone who only brings you unhappiness, lover, family member, house mate.
Why do we decide to stick with one mix of ingredients in our daily routine, when we really know we are missing the x-factor?

Are we simply afraid of the unknown, of what is over the other side, around the corner, our neighbours garden?
Im starting to think that really is it. We are simply afraid of what we dont know, or just dont what we could have. As in more.

Solution:
Just know this, if you are unhappy in the situation you find yourself in, you dont have to stay there. You can change, move on, move out, clear off, bugger off, run away from what you are currently dealing with.
Yeah, tell that to someone who still doesnt believe you,has no confidence, or simply afraid..

"They" should make a instructions booklet for difficult situations.

Im still waiting until Prentice Hall decide to get a move on…

Or or… i know, how about deciding what and when to eat. What to wear when you go out. How to know if its going to rain outside or not. Whether or not to buy extra toilet paper for the house when you go by a shop, knowing just how stupid you will look when you walk back home…

If its not what you are made of, dont let me use you for cleaning…
