SLLC, let`s work together.

Folks,

Thank you for choosing me to represent our group. I`m proud of it. Thanks for Louis (Kang) that would have also been a great choice.

I`d like to find a way to communicate with all of you, but I`d not like to use the FT MSC mailing list, because our colleagues from the other programs don`t need to receive our messages. I`m ask Paul to create a forum linked to the MBE page for us to discuss ways to improve our learning experience. I`d also think we should have a mailing list of our own. What do you think? What`s your opinion?

We can also use our group in Facebook, but I think we should prioritise the usage of Warwick tools.

By the way, in order to do a nice work I`ll need the help of everyone. I`d like to know what do you think about WMG, about the program, what we can do to improve our experience this year. I`m completely open to any need or opinion, I might not agree with it and I have my point of view, but I will certainly pass forward any vision I receive even if that is not my vision. So please, raise the question, communicate, ask. That`s what I`m here for.

If you wanna talk with me, you can write (f.abreu@warwick.ac.uk , this blog, forum, facebook group), or come and talk to me.

Once again tks a lot and let`s work to create a continuous improvement process on our program!

  4. Congratualtions Francisco. You could start investigating why only 2 tutors put their projects available for the MBE students and Why the others are taking so long to do it. I really want to start looking for my project. A lot of students from other courses are having their interviews and we can not do that because we are waiting for the projects. Paul told me that is because they have a lot of projects from other streams but they don’t appear to us MBE students. If we don’t have the choice the students from other streams will have an advantage in choosing the projects and we may not have the chance to do what we want.

  5. Congratulations Francisco! It is nice for you to be our representatives.

Thanks about your comment in my blog, the events I have talked about might be not tightly related to the credit crunch, but definitely related to the fact that China develop so quick and US & EU’s economic starting develop slower and that’s why they took actions to China.
I accept your Opinion and my points maybe over intensive. But personally I don’t agree with any unfriendly actions to any countries, even during the stage, when Chinese people refused to shop in French super market, I thought this might cause the foreign investors afraid of investing in China. In addition, as English is not my first language, maybe I couldn’t perfectly express what I am thinking.
    Thanks anyway ~
