Maximum Tune 2 Progress
Well, well…. it’s kinda hard to believe I’ve been a bit of a “Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 2” addict (or WMMT2) for quite a long time. Normally I’m no arcade racing addict, but if there’s a game that is taking arcade punters by storm, I need to see what the fuss is about :)
After nearly a year of £1 coins going into the machine (to an amount I’d rather not imagine), I’ve finally achieved something like this (my current card is the yellow one)
Right now, I’m on Stage 40 (the final stage of the 2nd cycle). The game is so hard, all you need is one serious bump on the wall, and you don’t have a hope in hell in catching up with the Devil Z car ….
The other 2 cards are the ones I’ve previously used, and are now ‘discarded vehicles’. Which doesn’t mean they’re dead cards (although they’re at the at it’s peak life expectancy), but they allow new cards to be created with a head-start, with your own name.

I got two stages with WMMT2 before it got removed, and I was into my third cycle on WMMT before they decided they were going to charge £1 a go and not maintain the card slots.

Yep, Leamington Spa megabowl. The game is getting pretty popular too. I’ve been seeing a load of peeps on a Friday night pumping in £1 coins into the machine just to get their car tuned up.

It’s a shame it’s on quid play, but I suppose being the only arcade in a very large radius they can charge whatever the hell they want.
I knew I should have brought my car up from WMMT1 rather than start again. :(

I’m guessing by now you are AT LEAST B2. Because I got a R34 Skyline thats S4 with 765 stars. Took me only 6 months to achieve S4

Yeah, oddly enough I’m a B2 lol
I guess it’s easier to rack up those stars when you have competition. It’s pretty dead here. I’ve got about 45.
