Today I worked on my PMA, I read a lot about asset management and this enabled me to understand that when we develop an AM implementation plan we need to consider the people dimension as the most important. In fact, it is crucial understanding that actualize an AM plan require changes and these changes will have a strong impact on our people. By implementing an AM plan we are going to change the way by which people work, interact and behave. Therefore, it requires leaders that are able to communicate with their workforce and even more important to listen them. Doing so, it can be possible to involve our people in the transformative process and understand their concerns and needs. So adopting this approach enables organisation to catalyse the transformative process and certainly to maximize the use of their assets. To me, an effective AM plan is the one that link process, people and workflow, indeed, it is not easy blending all of these three dimensions but as I wrote in my previous blogs, the journey towards excellence is hard.
