RDM– the wrong tool
Today after I assessed in-depth the tools that we used as a team to make our presentation, I was very concerned of how we went. In fact, we took several tools to justify our decisions (continue /discontinue the product), which were not necessary at all. At this time, we had a wrong understanding of how to make our decisions being robust. For instances, we used Growth share matrix in order to identify the position of our products into the market. However we did not have enough data to develop further this tool. Thus, we might have used another tool, which can give us directly the final decision, rather than spend time using this tool without certain elements.
