New Year Haiku, 20/03/05, Into the Flame

March 20, 2005

Prompted by Joe to write a haiku this morning, here is what I came up with:

The axis spins; a
new year born on spring's first day.
Laughter and bird song.

I have spent all afternoon playing music. I am so…happy.

Fresh.

Does an axis spin, or does everything else spin about it? Just a thought.
