MHRA Citation style now available

We have added a new output style to the list. This is a modfied version of the MHRA footnote style used by some Warwick departments.

To insert a reference using this style:

If you are using Word 2007:

  1. Click on the squared arrow in the Bibliography box in the EndNote Web tab.
  2. Under the option With Output Style, select MHRA.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Within Word, insert a footnote using the normal Word commands (e.g. References > Insert Footnote).
  5. This will place a footnote reference in the main text and take your cursor to the bottom of the page.
  6. Click the Find Citation(s) icon (the magnifying glass) on the EndNote Web tab and find the citation you wish to insert as normal.
  7. Click the Insert button.

If you are using Word 2003:

  1. Click on the Format Bibliography icon in the EndNote Web toolbar.
  2. Under the option With Output Style, select MHRA.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Within Word, insert a footnote using the normal Word commands (e.g. Insert > Reference > Footnote).
  5. This will place a footnote reference in the main text and take your cursor to the bottom of the page.
  6. Click the Find Citation(s) icon (the magnifying glass) on the EndNote Web toolbar and find the citation you wish to insert as normal.
  7. Click the Insert button.

The reference will be inserted as a footnote at the bottom of your document. EndNote Web will also add it at the end of your document as part of your final bibliography.
