Changing the default font for your bibliography

Unless you change it, your bibliography or reference list will automatically be displayed using Times New Roman, Size 12. If you have used a different font for your main document, you may want to change this.

If you are using Word 2007:

  1. From the EndNote Web tab, click on the squared arrow in  the bottom right hand corner of the Bibliography box.
  2. Click on the Layout Tab
  3. In the top two boxes, choose the font and size you have formatted your main document with.

If you are using Word 2003:

  1. From the EndNote Web toolbar, click on the Format Bibliography icon.
  2. Click on the Layout Tab
  3. In the top two boxes, choose the font and size you have formatted your main document with.

Note: you can also enter a bibliography title at this stage that will appear at the start of your references. If you wish to do this later, see the blog entry Automatically adding a title to your bibliography.
