Sword :)
Yesterday I had quite an exciting day. First I got locked in the staffroom at work by Mark (will plan and achieve revenge soon!). Then later I bought a sword :) Very happy now. Will be even happier when I recieve it.
Isn't it beautiful?

From where did you purr-chase?

ebay – that oh-so-wonderful money-absorbing place on the internet. Actually, it only cost me about £20, which is very cheap :)

What sort of sword is it? It looks Celtic to me. The price suggests to me it is some sort of replica though.
I have a genuine Japanese katana, though it is a modern one, the WWII era ones (taken by occupying Allied troops during and shortly after the war) are harder to come by these days, never mind Tokogawa era ones. I don't train with it anymore (used to do Kendo and other martial arts) but still plan to use it if any of the sink estate kids who plague my neighbourhood during the holidays break into my house, as they have my neighbours'.
I sound like a psychopath here so I'll quit while I'm behind. Still, I'd like to know some details of the sword and what, if any, training you intend to do with it.
