it's only 24 years til the year 2000
me again. apologies for my conspicuous absence from blogland for the last wee while. i'm not sure entirely how to explain this, as i would have thought that i would have a vastly increased amount of leisure time following the completion of the dissertation. i guess all my time is taken up by my 'job'. nevertheless, i intend to buck up. i've just arrived home after one of those really irritating delayed plane journeys that doesn't actually become delayed until everyone has boarded the plane. anyway, things that i will blog about this week include…
1.) impending comedy news
2.) just how much i despise that kinder advert with that ridiculous hippo destroying a museum to introduce the relative virtue of additive-filled chocolate
3.) how my priorities have changed in recent weeks. the world of work, it is already becoming apparent, is not really for me, and a whole bunch of decisions need to be made regarding the future and all that. i'm going to take some time at home to relax and to concentrate on the really important things, which are friends, family, and writing, in no particular order. i won't be overly cheesy about how much i love my friends, because they'd all puke (especially carter) but i hope they do know how important they are to me. and…
…fleur, i love you so much, thank you for finding me four months ago on this ridiculous blog, you bizarre character. you have enriched my life so much and we are going to have the most incredible times together. in the style of that guy who used to quote elliot smith all the time in the middle of his own text as if he'd written the lyrics himself (until roisin flamed him), i have to say…and now a quarter of my life is almost passed, i think i've come to see myself at last, and i see that the time spent confused, was the time that i spent without you. i love you so much wee darling and i'll see you in no time.
enough of all that. watch this space for more characteristic blog entries soon…

well as just said I love those kinder chocolate bar things that were on offer on campus. they fuelled many an afternoon staring at my computer.
and don't say i found you on here, it makes me look like an internet loon. we all know I saw you in the flesh beforehand (hmm use of bold makes this sound like a bad horror movie). I was watching you, I saw you, I was waiting for you. I'm not a loon, really come on now
now untie these strings behind my back, I can't type with my mouth all night

This anti-spam question thing is a wee bit on the ludicrous side, I think.
Mate, Canley is the same as ever except today Tesco wasn't just full of chavs screaming
"LEAVE ITTTTTTTT" but also pretentious gap year students allowing their mum to buy
them Tesco finest goat's cheese. Nice :)

I had to watch Ken loach's "Sweet Sixteen" to prevent Canley withdrawal symptoms.
i fell asleep in the middle

That Lovin' Spoonful song is still amazing

Going back to the heavy chain thing, Chris, we could add it to a round of attack of the spindles!

Random, you can come over here any time for a Canley booster shot, steer well clear of Loach, except in a comedy context.
