E–resistible Partnered with The Master Menu

Writing about web page http://www.themastermenu.co.uk/index.html

E-resistible is very excited to announce our latest partnership with a new innovative student business The Master Menu. This is a new idea created by student Leon Doyle, he brings a range of local takeaway menu's together to create "the master menu" which people can keep at home for when they want to order a takeaway. This should be a dream for advertising takeaway restaurants as owners no longer have to worry about designing, printing or distributing their menu's.

The exact details of E-resistible's collaboration with Master Menu are still currently a secret however all will be revealed in good time ;-)

Leon also went into the online version of Dragons Den which can be seen here. Check it out as he faces down the Dragons and impresses them with his profitable business model and entrepreneurial character.

E–resistible partnered with IGotMunchies.co.uk

Writing about web page http://www.igotmunchies.co.uk/

E-resistible is proud to announce that we have partnered with a new student website called I Got Munchies which is the best place to find local takeaway menus. I Got Munchies lists scanned menus from thousands of UK takeaway restaurants and now all I Got Munchies visitors will have the ability to order food online via E-resistible.co.uk when they find a restaurant that we both list.

As we are both student start-ups this is a natural partnership for both businesses and E-resistible is looking forward to working with the I Got Munchies base of takeaway lovers :-)

Ready for 1st Term

Writing about web page http://www.e-resistible.co.uk

Things have continued to move fast for us. We have now reached the landmark of 100 restaurants, having covered Bristol and Bath and entered London (Zone 1 primarily).

Our objective of offering our service to 8 universities (3 in Birmingham, Warwick University, Gloucester Univerisity, 2 in Bristol and Bath) is achieved. And certain students in London can even start ordering for the 11 restaurants we have over there!

Certain great developments have also been made on the website: you can now pay online and search for dishes using our search tool within a menu. Making your ordering process pleasant and easy is what we are here for!

Once again, thank-you for using e-resistible.co.uk , and enjoy your next meal ! :-)

Expanding Fast

Writing about web page http://www.e-resistible.co.uk/

Well the last couple of months have been a complete whirlwind. The response from Warwick students has been fantastic as word about e-resistible has spread around halls. This has convinced us of the demand for this method of ordering food and so as soon as our end of year exams were finished we began our expansion plans. As I write this we have just signed contracts with our 65th restaurant. We now cover, all of Birmingham, Coventry, Leamington Spa, Gloucester and Cheltenham (restaurants to be put online in the next few days).

We have also received articles about us in the Leamington Courier and Coventry Telegraph. We are currently making updates to the site with the feedback system being put live a few weeks back and more additions to come in the next few weeks.

Thank you to everyone who has placed an order thus far, and those who haven't why not try us to see how easy it really is!

Happy ordering ;-)

On 16th May 2008 E-resistible.co.uk launched! It has taken a while and lots of testing to get it to a stage where we are now taking orders from the public. We are open from 5pm till 2am every day and have a large selection of restaurants in the Leamington Spa and Coventry area.

This is our first version of the site so any feedback is very welcome, we want to make e-resistible the most user friendly method of ordering a takeaway online. Please try us out next time you fancy a bit to eat, why not become a fan of us on facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/e-resistiblecouk/22222508896

So how does it work?

Writing about web page http://www.e-resistible.co.uk/

So an Online Food Ordering Website, how does that work?

You will arrive at our home page and be asked to enter your postcode, this will then display every restaurant that delivers to you that we have signed up to http://www.e-resistible.co.uk/, you will then be able to filter this by food type if you wish. Then choose which restaurant to order from and decide what you want to eat. Every item is displayed on our online menu and you simply have to click on each item to add it to your order. All prices are the same as the restaurant charges to normal customers with no extras for the convenience of ordering online.

Everything is easy to use with a pizza customizer for example if you wish to add extra toppings and all meal deals are displayed as if you had walked into the restaurant itself. Our technology will work everything out for you, for example if the restaurant has a minimum order value then it will tell you, or if you are eligible for a free bottle of wine because you ordered over £20 the it will tell you!

The great part about http://www.e-resistible.co.uk/ is that you can compare each restaurant's prices with its competitors because they are all displayed on the website. And furthermore each customer that orders through http://www.e-resistible.co.uk/ is asked to leave a rating of their meal the next time they log in and if they wish they can write a review. This gives all customers an unbiased system for choosing the best restaurants and also getting the best prices.

Once you place your order online that is it! We will send you a confirmation email immediately and then a follow up email in a few minutes to confirm that the restaurant can fulfil the order.

Hopefully this explains how the site will work, but it won't be long before we send it live and you can try it out for yourself!

An Exciting Start!

Writing about web page http://www.e-resistible.co.uk/

We are three management students from The University of Warwick who have started our own business. We are setting up an online food ordering website called e-resistible.co.uk. The website is being designed by ex warwick students from Midlands Web Design who are creating the most user friendly interface possible so that ordering your favorite takeaway couldn't be easier.

This blog should chart our progress through setting up the business to our launch in the Summer term.

I should probably introduce everybody before we start. We are all 2nd year Management students who live together in Leamington Spa, I am Steve Barnes from England, we have Stephen Leguillon from France and finally we have Velin Djidjev from Bulgaria. The idea was originally Stephen's and emerged from a module in 1st year where you have to go through the motions of starting a business. Because the feedback was so good he decided to go for it this year.

We will try to update this page regularly so keep checking back to see how we are doing.
