Meeting 2
The second meeting was held at 3pm on Tuesday 19th October. The members present were Deena, Devan, David and Joey. The reseach was collected by each person was discussed and then we tackled the task of assigning jobs as best we could without the 2 absent members. it was concluded that:
*Devan will write to a chemical company called Quest to see if they have a link with the chemical production industry to find out about running cost. He will also try to find out how proftitably viable it will be tomake acetic acid using this method.
*Dave will looking further into the market and in conjunction with Devan will fund out about uses for the acetic acid.
*Joey is going to construct a flow diagram and give explanations into the process assigned to us.
*Deena will research raw materials and find out information on the other processes used to make acetic acid.
*Charles will also find out information on the other processes used to make acteic acid.
*Mike will reseach raw materials.
All members need to bring a detailed piece on their task ready for the wrting up of the short report.
Next meeting arranged for Tuesday 26th October at 3pm- All members MUST attend
