HEllo!!! Heh..a comeback!

Hehehehhee….HElLooOOoo….......!!!!!!!!!

Been a REaLLy long while since i last wrote eh..no news about the summer holidays in Malaysia..WEll, not much to write about anyway.

I just feel extreeeemely happy right now..so elated that i just had to write it out..

Mommy n I made a deal – no more merajuk, no more fighting and just trust each other. Sheesh..talk about the generation gap..

I think, it's a really hard transition for a person if once upon a time they were best buddies and then slowly as time passes that you just cannot help but drift apart? Well, same goes for mothers. Heh, all you mothers out there..i KNoW you want each and everyone of your children to tell you how you are, how you lead your every single minute of your life, who you talk to, what you talk about, where you are, etc ( you get my point, right?) But as children grow older, well, some change, some don't.

I now know a bunch of my friends who have similar relationships as how my mother and i have. Well, to cut short, one thing in common that we have is that mothers just can't seem to let go. Sheesh…we're no longer kids who need to stay under your armpits!!! It's time to breathe our own air and emit out OwN body odour. Hehe..i know, it sounds weird. Whatever. It has been a while since i blogged, so kill me.

JAsmine's someone i'm darnedly happy to be still her friend. She's really something. Shasha too – heh, good 'ol times, but we just keep getting it better~! LengHui, Vee Han, MEngLee, Cal, Andrew..well..just can't get away from u guys eh..THose were ReaLLy good quality times spent. LAngkawi RocKs with u guys around..=) As for izyan, haih..dunno when i'll be seeing her..it's really been a while. Nad…u too..but bangi's just so far!! And my gurly gang, we didn't get to spend much time togehter..but it was alright..we're slowly turning into those "desperate housewives-ish" and "sex in the city" sorta ladies eh – shopping, meeting up for lunch..Heheh…glad we got to meet up before joyce had to go..Joanne..wish i could see her when i went to UTP for my brother's convo.. but since it was just a day affair, my mom decided to just make it a real daytrip.

Hehehe…MY BROTHER deserves his OwN paragraph =) HEhehe…he graduated as a Mechanical engineer on the something-th of august this year =) I'm so proud of him..now working in some engineering firm. Oil & gas, office in KL - YEaYYyyyy no need to stay far far away from home =)

THen there was my birthday – that was great. Hehhe…pampered great. Best ever bday great. Enuf said.

WEll, point is, i'm happy. THree months of holidays wasted on ill feeling. Sheesh. Talk about a waste of time. But still…wake me up, when september ends.. =p

'Inbreeding threat' to bumblebees

Bumblebees could be facing extinction as inbreeding in colonies turns hard-working female bees into useless males, scientists have found.

The bee populations are now mainly confined to nature reserves – isolated by intensively farmed land with no other bees around.

This forces them to mate with relatives, the study found.

Male bees are "basically lazy", said study leader Dr David Goulson of the University of Southampton.

Even on well-protected nature reserves, the last populations of these rare insects may be driven to extinction

A bumblebee queen usually produces a large number of worker daughters to help in the nest and with gathering nectar and pollen.

But if the queen mates with a relative, many of the genetically female offspring develop into sterile males.

"Since male bumblebees do no work, and have only one purpose – mating – a sterile male is worse than useless," said Dr Goulson.

"If the queen is producing sterile sons instead of worker daughters, the nest is probably doomed.

"This means that, even on well-protected nature reserves, the last populations of these rare insects may be driven to extinction."

The Almeria province of southern Spain has undergone massive and rapid agricultural change. In 1974 the landscape is one of traditional farmland but by 2000 a huge area has been covered by greenhouses for the mass production of market produce for export.

The first of a selection of images from the UN's new environmental atlas shows China's Huang He – or Yellow River – the muddiest river on Earth. Where it flows into the ocean, sediments such as mica and feldspar are deposited in the delta, causing it to change dramatically in recent decades.

The infestation of Lake Victoria by water hyancinth in the 1990s – seen here as green swirls – disrupted fishing and transport and polluted water supplies. With the careful addition of natural insect predators the problem has been rapidly contained.

The date palm forest lining the Shatt al-Arab estuary in Iraq is the largest in the world. In 1975 the date palm belt – shown dark red – was thriving but by 2002, the pallid colour indicates dead vegetation. The UN estimates war, pests and salt have destroyed 14 million palms.

Iguazú National Park, located in Argentina near its borders with Brazil and Paraguay, contains remnants of highly endangered rain forest. These images clearly show how protecting an area can halt encroaching deforestation.

What a Day~!!

Horrible day, today is..

Woke up sooooo happy n cheerful..then one by one things started to happen.

By 11 o'clock, started to feel lightheaded n nauseous, tired, hungry ( but too lazy to wash dishes). Ate cereal. Foudn out my uni no's the 20th prime no in warwick.

12 sumthing, did laundry – had to go costcut to get change.
Tired like crazy. No one cheering me to go on for the day..

2 oclock – discovered i've been attacked by a pervert. SOme idiot put his huge blue underwear in my laundry n took one of my panties!!! PERv~!!! sick sick sick ppl in warwick!!!!!

3 o clock – want to sleep, cannot sleep. Still upset that my laundry got attacked..hmm…cud it be the guy who was looking at me one kind this morning? hmm..
Weather so warm. Panass..cannot sleep. Chat on msn..asik getting cranky on ppl jer. Gave up.

Working at the gallery later at 6–9pm.
Till then, im gonna rot here alone in my room like a bitter old cow. .
