I am really glad that the IT people have finally decided to have the Firefox browser in the PCs in the lecture halls and rooms. Germany and France has already issued warnings against the use of Microsoft's Internet Explorer becuase of the security issues. However, I am wondering why the University is still using the older version (Firefox 3.0.1) while the latest version is 3.5.7
Using the older version, which has a number of security issues is really not a good idea. Hope they update the browsers on all the PCs asap before something bad happens.
