After visiting the Career office', i was given the idea to start meeting people from around the world and LinkedIn was the tool to reach out. I have just created a page on LinkedIn which hopefully will help me getting a job in the future with the help of a contact I have made on that site.
On 7 January 2015, I talked to Helen Ford, the Archive Manager of the Modern Records Centre at the University of Warwick, whose purpose was to provide me with an insight regarding jobs opportunities as an archivist and opportunities to work in a museum. She explained to me in details the knots and bolts of being an archivist at university and in public/private sector. I obtained from her several web addresses to continue to search for more info.
