GAME OFF TONIGHT – 18th August

GAME OFF TONIGHT – Water logged pitches, gypsies curse, bits of light aircraft, biohazard unearthed all mean we can’t play again ! Very sorry guys.

One thing I’d almost forgotten is that it doesn’t rain in the South East, well hardly at all. We get about five times the amount of rain here, or so it seems! My washing’s drying today, although there are a few angry looking clouds, I think I’ll get it in in a minute.

Hiya Sue, hope the washing escaped a second rinsing! Where are you by the way?

That’s for me to know and you to find out – or some such skulduggery. Second rinsing – I’ve not heard that term before for washing being caught in the rain – but, no, luckily it didn’t.

Skulduggery , is such a fantastic phrase! I have visions of Pirates, buried treasure and bundles of ironing :-)
