Bat envy – Is this a form of Freudian analysis ?

Chris buys a G&M Canon, Richard has a new GN Predator, am I missing out? Is this a mid-life crisis? Should I buy a soft top sports car and run off with an au pair?

I’ve just bought a GN 5 star Viper :-) I’m trying to justify this in respect to my 2 Slazengers & 1 tree trunk from ebay.

    Hi Dean,

I have found with the economic climate tightening quicker than a slugs a**e covered in Salt that value for money is always a better way of judging which bat to buy as well as the obvious weight of it. Hence I give you my £1 bat of pure trunk like proportions. I brought it off ebay for yeah you guessed it £1 all right admittedly it did set me back £26 for delivery from the lovely country of India. My Sunridges Magnum arrived as described with the weight I required 2lb 14oz and for less than £30 all in I was quite impressed.

Now for the clever part. I have only used the bat 2 times this season due to coaching and being injured with a fractured foot, but in those 2 innings I have scored 93 runs with it. Therefore the quick calculation of 93 runs and divide by £27.99 i get you a price of 30p a run. With this in mind will anyone be able to follow?

Will the Govt. bring in a new stealth tax then ? Based on runs per bat cost you may even be due a rebate surely?

Although Michael ( I have a Yorkshire Mullet) Vaughan would be subsidised by your team of under 11’s?
