Bookmarklet

Decided to make a "bookmarklet" to make it easy to blog pages.

javascript:top.location="http://blogs.warwick.ac.uk/blogbuilder/admin/create/plainEntry.spr?blog=BLOGID&newPermissions=Anyone&newCommentPermissions=Anyone&relatedUrl="+escape(document.URL)

If you want to use it:

Go to create a new entry in your blog
Add it as a favourite and set the title you want
Right-click it, click Properties
Replace the link URL with my link above, but replace BLOGID with the one from your link (the cryptic admin one, not the one like 'davidmiller')
Press OK to save
To use just browse to a web page and click the URL… it's automatically entered into the Related Web Page box!

I (still) use IE - adjust for your browser!

New Weblog

Writing about web page http://www.djmz.com/

Welcome to my new weblog. Hopefully I'll manage to keep this one up to date! One day I'll make my own dynamic one (the one on my web site was file-based and getting unmanageable), but this'll do for now!

Anyway, I was going to bed hours ago and got sidetracked!

(PS Sorry I know it's "Blog" here, but I'll stick to Weblog for now!)
