Back to Windows

I tried to be a true computer geek. I tried to use Linux. I like the power of the command line, but I don't have the time or patience to get the GUI set up how I like it. So once again I'm going back to Windows. I'll probably install either coLinux and/or CygWin though.

Bookmarklet

Decided to make a "bookmarklet" to make it easy to blog pages. javascript:top.location="http://blogs.warwick.ac.uk/blogbuilder/admin/create/plainEntry.spr?blog=BLOGID&newPermissions=Anyone&newCommentPermissions=Anyone&relatedUrl="+escape(document.URL) If you want to use it: Go to create a new entry in your blog Add it as a favourite and set the title you want Right-click it, click Properties Replace the link URL with my link above, but replace BLOGID with the one from your link (the cryptic admin one, not the one like 'davidmiller') Press OK to save To use just browse to a web page and click the URL… it's automatically entered into the Related Web Page box! I (still) use IE - adjust for your browser!
