Rest in the Lord

A word was given to me very recently which was both encouraging and comforting.

In it is said to “rest in the Lord”

To date to only way I have found I can do that is to ’ just be’ in the presence of the Lord, which I do fairly regularly.

What works for you?

  2. Not much ‘Resting-in-the-Lord’ advice,

Maybe we are too like the world and therefore too busy?

Hello about 2 years ago – I found myself in a series of events that brought me to a severe burn out – it was a wake up call – and the result of not realizing that I was getting worn out -and had taken too much on my “plate” ...in business and also family matters at that same time brought on additional trials all of which catalized in burn out about the same time… but as this was happening – it became evident that I was to down size tasks and to withdraw from ove extending myself – and to begin to Enter into His REST …....Let go – Let Him… be Still – and REST – cease effort – and as I keep doing this – His Healing and Deliverance and peace is on going.. what I see – is REST is letting Go – and Letting Him…and Entering
into His Flow and ceasing our strivings …
