Rebel Without a Point

I stole a book today,

I’m a rebel without a cause.

I haven’t written my essay,

I’m a rebel without a point.

I’m a rebel without a cause.

I’m floating on placid shores.

I’m a rebel without a point.

I’m writing the word anoint.

You see it rhymes with the word above,

Oh, I’m sorry, I digress.

I’ve really broken the rules this time.

I’m a rebel without a point.

I’m sorry, I digress,

I’m only trying to write,

I’m a rebel without a point,

I’m not failing out of spite.
