The testicle and the poodle

I've just read Tony Blair's and Charles Clarke's defence of their stance on civil liberties and I'm fucking pissed off. Expect a rant here within the next day or so. Meanwhile, I leave you with this quote from "Krisco" on the Guardian blog entry attached to Clarke's article.

Amongst his concerns and view of civil liberties is, he states, "The right to go to work safely on the tube." Perhaps Jean Charles de Menezes also had this right. He was not only mown down in cold blood but his murder was covered up by a bundle of lies.
