To look out your window

Have a look out your window, lady

just for a moment,

and in the Turin shrouded valley night

see my face in the reflection.

I shall look out of mine, upon the eyes of suburbian

ring road lamps

and see your delicate face casting eyes back at me,

soft and touching.

For that moment smile, a gentle kiss, clouding with hot breath

the icy glass pane,

and know that miles away, I am touching your lips

and comfort in their warmth.

I am the reflection in your window,

you are the reflection in mine.
