Nearly the end.

The campaigning is over, the polls have closed. Now we sit and wait in rapt attention (honest) for the results.

It's certainly been an interesting week. Considering that the actual candidates must be feeling a hell of a lot more exhausted than I do, I salute them. A big round of applause also to the elections group for their valiant effots.

It will be quite nice to start walking around campus again without having to cope with a sign creating lots of additional wind resistance…it was like walking with a sail! I'm also sure that the rest of the student population will be glad to see the end of the campainging, count yourselves lucky though, I promise you it was worse last year.

The results will be announced this evening. And remember, for better or for worse, your votes did count to make this happen.
