Now that the polls are open candidates are all working to make there prescence felt even more. Only 49 hours and twenty minutes more to go, then the polls close and everyone can resume life as normal again, without interruption to lectures, events and blogs. Before the elections draw to a close, make sure you that you reward the effort and hardwork of those standing for election by reading all the manifestoes and making an informed decision on who to vote for.
I've heard a lot of finalists say that they won't be voting, because as they're leaving the results won't affect them. This is true, but rather short sighted and inconsiderate, much to the same extent of not caring about the destruction of the rain forests because we'll all be dead in 80 years.
The first years arriving in october don't get a vote at the election, but we can make sure that they have something good waiting for them when they get here.
