my first blog "whats it all about

Im a dinosaur, whats it all about, this is a bit new to me, but im going to give it ago. I have to ask myself what am I doing here as I have been in a training role for two and half years training my students that is, not me training as I am fully qualified in my field. But now realise that I am training to be a teacher it sort of crept up on me really. Ready to embrace what this course can throw my way.

  2. You can’t be that much of a dinosaur you managed to access your blog before I did! Hopefully over the next couple of weeks things will become clearer and by the time you come back for your next classroom session you will have mastered the art of blogging and wikis.

Well here goes, blogging again. I have just completed my initial assessment of me, who I am, what I’m doing, what I’ve got and where I’m going. What I did not realise was, that I then had to blog about filling in a form. Could’nt I just have up loaded my C.V. would that not of been easier and quicker. For me right now there are not enough hours in the day. Have I misunderstood the importance of the form and is blogging the new trend.

Oh my days! just checking to see if I have a reply, I have no reply because I did’nt Add Comment what am I like, so I can now add I am struggling to navigate round this site. I realise that I have to attend and get this qualification but just wish that I did’nt have to. I have approached Kathryn regarding a lesson observation and awaiting some dates but after emailing you this week think I will be doing it next Thursday will keep you posted. I have attempted my own lesson plan with Ofsted looming feeling a bit positive. I thought the lesson was ok and although it became apparent that 45mins is not long enough to complete a lesson plan I think it would of been more productive to be told it’s not achievable and therefore start one in the first session and complete in the second session instead of debating what time to allocate to this and so much time for that and so on. Is that a bit harsh I’m sorry!

  6. I am always open to constructive feedback and as this is a new course it is good to know what learners think, because there are so many things to cover it is trying to identify which are more important aspects than others and these comments will inform the next session that is run. For some reason you are posting your blog entries as part of your original blog entry so for the first couple of visits to your site I could only see the first entry and did not think to look in the comments until I saw the list down the side that told me that you have been adding to this more regularly than I thought!
