Kitchen Brigade: 'The Buntons' Emma, Jade, Anton and Ross
Starter: Gnocchi with peas and broad beans. Reminds me of potato croquettes at school. Comments from diners: 'Gnocchi was tender' 'really fresh, great colours'. 46/50.
Main: Dover sole with brown shrimp butter. Jade from Damage is apparently a Chef now....GR has put him on the pass. Looked ok. suspicious, similar to Marc-ohs potted shrimp in many respects. 'Capers overwhelmed flavour'. GR impressed with Jade. 38/50. Fish overcooked.
Pudding: Gooseberry and Elderflower crunble with vanilla icecream. Sounds good. lots of lovely caramel...yum. Advantages of an older woman...many methinks ;). 36/50. lacked elderflower tase and didn't like the texture.
Erin O'Connor: Why do model's eat badly? Hmmm............ Erin watches the quality of what she puts into her mouth. Hmmm..........'Great shots' - GR. Tuna steak with roasted vegetable couscous. Looks ok. heavy on carbs but lean protein. She's never going to cook that....
Jon Snow: Salmon fillet like a Jamie O recipe. Portobello mushrooms. Gordon shouldn't try interviewing - is your news desk like a pulpit? Send ties to auction for charity. GR- Basil peas, and broad beans. Jon - lived in Uganda. Knows national anthem.Jon - Slight element of self doubt. Salmon cooks for two minutes. Jon forgot mushroomos. 3:2 to GR.
JSP: Spit roasted veal. Does Veal spit roast well? Needs careful marinading with rosemary and olive oil. it's David btw. Brass band, very GBS. Mayor fo dinner. Lives were short but bright and gay!'Chewy but gorgeous'. 'British veal is great' - JSP.
Healthy Food. Emergency response unit for Underground. Healthy breakfast. Fairly uninteresting.

Yesterday opened a bottle of Chilean Pinot Noir (Secano Estate Pinot Noir 2007, Leyda Valley) from £8.99 (i think) M&S. More of an exercise to compare it to last weeks £12 French Pinot Noir from Foster & Wainwrights.
It was nice, quite heavy though (14% abv). Only had two glasses and have a slight fuzzy head so far today.
'A generously fruity, beautifully smooth and aromatic Chilean red. It delivers plenty of soft, ripe cherry, strawberry and plum flavours and has an elegant, fresh finish ' M& S Website.
For me, i think I could (should) only drink two glasses at most in one sitting. Last weeks French effort was a lot softer (in a good way) with more more subtle hints of fruit - which I quite like. Overall not a bad drop, went well the pizza we had, but in places a bit brash.
