A quick stroll
I needed to get out of the house this morning for reason which I shall keep to myself, I thought I'd go for a nice walk so I started thinking where I could walk, I wast thinking of walking out Warwick way and them back via north Leam, I then thought why bother with that, I'll walk to uni, Its something I have wanted to do for a while so I did.
I left the house at 7:10am, walked all the way via Stoneleigh and arrived here at 9:40am, I'm fairly proud of myself, 9.5 miles (according to multimap) in 2.5 hours. Despite the fact it snowed all the way, and the lack of footpaths on the road to Stoneleigh meaning I am now quite wet I did really enjoy it, I might walk home tonight too, and walk in more often.

Slegg
Haha, throughout my time at uni i'd always said I wanted to walk from campus to Leam. Eventually in May of my final year, I walked from Cov train station to Leam, via Earlsdon, via campus and via Stoneleigh. Took 4 hours, my legs ached for days after. But it was a lovely sunny morning (started at 7, after getting back from a night in Brum) Got a few funny looks on the way. Was genius. The Leam to campus bit is actually a really nice walk in the sunshine. Wait til the weather's nicer, it's too cold for those kind of walks!!!

Ah Slegg, you are a legendary Warwick student. I'll expect the aching of your legs had more to do with your stupid lesbian dancing the night before than anything else ;o)
Miss you lots,

You think that’s clever – in my first year at Rootes, I used to regularly swim rootes lake after a night out – only putting the wetsuit on once we reached november.
I also once walked from campus to kenilworth when I discovered the warwick newsagent wasn’t stocked with my regular quarterlies.
