Lost forever? I think not

Have you ever found something you'd lost which you thought you'd never see again? If so whats the longest you've lost something for before finding it? A few years ago I bought The Matrix on DVD, I somehow managed to lose the DVD (just the disc not actually the box), the disc was missing for well over a year in fact so long that I bought another copy (at a fraction of the originals cost) and I may even have thrown the box away. I thought it was lost forevermore…

…till yesterday that is. I was talking to Henry and he made some comment about finding rubbish music like My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion whilst looking for some german music. The conversation then turned to that particular song, and for some strange reason I had the urge to play it so I had a quick search of my digital music collection to find I don't have it. No fear I knew I had it on my legal copy of The Titanic Soundtrack, yes, thats right I do own The Titanic Soundtrack (I have the film on DVD too), and low and behold my Matrix DVD was in the CD case along with the audio CD.

So there you go, a DVD which I thought I'd lost forever (and had looked all over for) turns up years later in such a very random place, madness!
