Writing about web page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page
Obviously, learning and education are two different words. They have different meanings; they belong to different categories; and while they may sometimes have connections, these two words are not the same. So, in the following paragraph, I will mainly focus on the definition to explain these two words¡¯ difference.
Firstly, learning is great knowledge got by studying. Education is the process of teaching people, especially in a school college. Besides, on the Wikipedia web page, it says that learning is one of the most important mental functions of humans, animals and artificial cognitive systems. It relies on the acquisition of different types of knowledge supported by perceived information, while education encompasses both the teaching and learning of knowledge, proper conduct, and technical competency. Further more; learning ranges from simple forms of learning classical conditioning seen in many animal species, to more complex activities such as play, seen only in relatively intelligent animals and humans, while education focuses on the cultivation of skills, trades or professions, as well as mental, moral and aesthetic development, which learning does not value.
Therefore, in general, learning can be conscious and not conscious, while education is conscious in most situations, which I suppose that means education needs the participation of teachers and learners.
