About me

About me

Let me introduce myself, my name is Charlotte Lewis and I work as Undergraduate Student Experience Officer within the Department of Politics and International Studies. I have been in the Department of Politics and International Studies for 10 years now and also graduated from a degree in Health and Social Policy, from the Department of Sociology at The University of Warwick in July 2011.

With the changes in higher education we, as a department, are now focussing more on the student experience and part of my role is to support our Director of Student Experience and Progression and also our Director of International Studies in trying to give our students a little bit more and to make sure they leave the department with a well rounded education and experience as well as a great degree.

My job involves all aspects of student welfare within the PaIS department, including looking after our incoming and outgoing exchange students and dealing with any problems or issues which may arise throughout a student’s time here in PaIS. I assist with our Alumni relations as well as Widening Participation events and Post-Offer Open Days and like to get involved in any promotional, celebratory or fundraising events on and off campus.

I have started to write this blog to hopefully give you all a little insight into the PaIS Undergraduate office and what we do here, to keep you all up to date on charity events within the department and to tell you a little bit more about the wonderful oportunities we have to study abroad within the Department of Politics and International Studies at Warwick.
