Arts Faculty Postgraduate Seminar Series Term 2, Week 3

The Arts Faculty Postgraduate Seminar Series will recommence this term in Week 3, with papers from two students from the English Department:

Mary Mullen: “Living in the Present Moment: North and South’s Contingent History”

Pete Kirwan: “‘Those wretched plays’: Bardolatry vs. the Shakespeare Canon”

Chair: Charlotte Mathieson (English Dept.)

We will be returning to the usual venue, the Graduate Space (4th Floor Humanities)

Papers will start at 5.30pm, lasting approximately 20 minutes each with time for questions between each, followed by discussion and time to socialise over refreshments at the end - wine, soft drinks, and nibbles are provided.

All Arts Faculty Postgraduate students are welcome to attend.

Past exhibition info

Follow-up to 'Mapping the Imagination' at the V&A from Charlotte's Research blog

I'm not sure how long this has been on the V&A website, but whilst preparing some material for my seminars tomorrow I came across thisarchived info about the exhibition "Mapping the Imagination" that I went to last year. The website is great as it has much better images of the maps than I managed to take, and it includes all of the exhibits, many of which I didn't photograph.
