Work (not) In Progress

  • Reading a book on Europe and the US
  • Washed-up
  • Cleaned the skirting-board
  • Watered the plants
  • Wrote this
  • Listened to music
  • Spent ages creating a fake Facebook entry
  • Checked to see how much gas is left on the meter (£6.27 since you ask)
  • Watched Football Focus

Considering I could have been writing a pointless essay on the governing strategies of the 1920s and 1930s in Britain, I think it's been a successful day so far.

  1. You cleaned the skirting board?? Jesus, you do realise you can't retire until your mid sixties…next thing you'll be telling us you've taken up watercolours..

  2. lol… it really was starting to smell of damp crap. Just don't tell my landlord.

And considering that retirement ages are going up, it seemed sensible to get some retirement-type activities in while I've got the chance.
