Last Friday was my Mums last day of teaching, after decades Mam has left the school she has given so much to. As a result Friday evening was spent in a pub drinking with a lot of my ex-teachers. Surreal.
I still have no job, though that is mostly due to a reluctance to get one. Factory work seems my best bet, cos I can work when I want. Hope to fit in 4/5 weeks of solid work which should pay off the overdraft.
The nearest I have found to anything even remotely sciency is packing medical supplies, which will be interesting for a few hours. Just need to sign up to the agency… I'll do it tomorrow.
Was dreading the thought of not getting over to Carraroe, but fingers crossed I'll be there for my birthday, it won't rain and so will have a bbq on the beach, and lovely Boyfriend will be able to arrange a few days off work to join us.
Also hoping that I'll get to see multiple family members when passing through the various counties on the way back. Stay a few days in Dublin maybe and then start packing to go back to uni. Ahhh well.

Today Louise, best-mate-from-down-my-street is 21. I want to wish her a very happy birthday because she merits nothing less. She is a credit to this world, an eternal optimist, who even on a bad day will always find something to laugh at. I love her to bits and hope the future holds all the health, wealth and happiness she deserves

Still no job…that might be due to lack of looking but ho-hum… the house is resembling an episode of The Good Life as Mam has grown bastard loads of strawberries and multiple jars of jam have been produced… Strawberry mostly, some blackcurrant. There is also a mass of long green beans of some sort…loads of them… While Mam has been productive, I have been destructive attacking the garden with a strimmer, hedge cutters, and a shredder. Weeeeeeee!
Had to stop though because this weather isn’t that good for electrical equipment. Supposed to be camping at a beer festival tomorrow, but I might wimp out and get the last train home if it carries on raining. Anyone in the vicinity of Cheshire should hop on a train to Wrenbury and get to the Bhurtpore Beer festival, (follow the road the side of the signal box round till you get to the pub) its only a little one, but they do lots of beers and ciders and perry’s. Hopefully will have Moonshine that is so very very nice. And they do nice food to. Its on until Sunday… just so you know!
Get to see some of me long lost friends so will be even better!
Take it easy.
