_The Kings men dressed in crimson
And the Plain's men bare of chest,
One dressed in shining armour
The other a loin cloth at best
They come to fight for honour
And they come to fight for gold
And this battle may be the greatest tale
I have ever told.
I've seen fair Kia raveged now
For many years
Villages burned, the people run
So full of tears
The undead and the beast plague
And the people from our past
But now a choice it must be made
And it must be made fast.
Some come from the cities
And some come from the plains
Both sides have their reasons
And both sides stand to gain
The fearI once saw in those eyes
Is turned to bitter Ire,
But can our country be saved
By blood–shed and by fire?_
OK, this was a song I made up pre– todays adventure, which was ace!!
Also, I'll be attempting to have a page–per–day of chapter 5 following some (quite flattering) enquiries into if there would be any!!
I know school practice ate into my time, but would I let you down?! x

Yo mes dudes,
Long time no blog, I know–the printer c'est slightly buggered, so I can't be arsed faffing with it, although I do have three pages of chapter 5 ready to go now….though I'm sure you're in no rush!
This is my last week of school for this year (hurrah!) so I'll try and make it up to you by posting a load during next week when all I have on are gigs and parties and fun house–mate stuff!
On a rather postivie note I ran the Race for Life on Sunday and made it 5k without stopping! (I mixed running and walking, about 2/3rds jogged in all I think, not bad eh?!) I'm also totally proud of the rest of our team, Jo, Carrie, Laura and Jess who all made it round the course in under 40mins! (Some a little faster than the rest of us…!)
In total we'll raise about £500 I think for cancer research, and I got one of the biggest buzzes ever from completing a personal challange, so yay!
Four more days to go…if I don't bump into you at the Final Fling on weds, I'll be on the Piazza at 4 on monday for Replica X and the Warwick Symphony Orchestra–come say hey!
Hope you're all doing well!

remember a while ago I was thinking of travelling? And as per usual things weren't really panning out as I'd hoped?
Well, I got myself a bit sorted and went to STA travel and am now totally confirmed to be flying to Tokyo on September 1st. So there, I finally did what I said I was gonna!
More importantly is something I'm doing which is NOT selfish (I know, I know, get back into your seats) The Race for Life is next Sunday, so if you've not yet sponsered us you can do so at this page or I'm taking my paper sheet into work on Saturday so you can pop into the jug and give a little as well as getting a pint!
And I remembered a verse the other day that I used to read on one of those "poems on the underground" posters we had at school that pretty much sums up life at the moment;
"I burn my candle at both ends
It will not last the night.
But ah, my friends and oh, my foes
It makes a lovely light!"
Sorry the cover wasn't good enough, but you'll have to wait a whole other chapter before another schway artpage! Then again, things are about to change…
