After the Heat

Well, that was the heat that was, and what a heat!

I'm sure the buffalo soldiers didn't used to rock as much as they did last night, it was wicked!

Snarf were great, loved the use of spatula-merchandising guys!

Pink Spider were, as my friend said "Scary", but I think she was more scared because she'd seen the lead singer at the Rev concert the night before, and the two don't really seem compatable…!

Then who…ah yes PROTOCOL who were marvellous, especially as I got blown two kisses by the lovely AMy, I felt so special! It was even better than the last set as you could actually hear the conga's this time, and I really like what these guys do, play gigs soon guys!

The best bit about our set was no-one seemed to notice the huage mess-up except us, and I had lots of lovely comments from lots of lovely people, which was great, thanks guys! You never know, we may do a couple of gigs next term or something, seems a shame to leave it there…

In the end Pink Spider won, which may seem controversial to some, if you know they formed four years ago miles from Warwick, but they are a tight group and put on a good show, and Ya is definatly an active member of the society, so well done guys! I havn't yet checked the forum, so I don't know what's been said…I think I'm going there now, before embarking on an evening of, you guessed it, PLANNING! but, one week to go…

PS teaching was pretty good today, even tho my teacher's still sick :-(

PPS BATTLE OF THE BANDS FINAL, tuesday night, market place. OH yes!!
