Isaac would probably not have blogged it
There are many posters around the Warwick campus claiming that Isaac, Albert and Co "would have blogged it" (part of an eye-catching campaign which I seem to have succumbed to). However, all the evidence suggests that Newton was a very private person, secretive about his scientific acitivites, possessive of his creative priority, and at times almost paranoic about his rivals. Historians! Correct me if I am wrong.

Interesting point! Although, of course, if Newton made notes or kept journals he would have blogged it and then set his permissions to himself alone :)

Galileo would have blogged it and consequently be banned for breaching terms and conditions (thou shalt not blog about the orbits of the heavens).

You're not the first to have spotted this :-).
But, secretive as he was, Newton did keep a fairly substantial diary and private notebooks, so it's conceivable he might have chosen a blog for doing this. Plus it made for some great imagery on the posters :-)
