appreciation

What a busy day it has been. However I really enjoy it as I experienced a lot during the LE module. Everything was so impressive.

I believe everyone in this university has the same purpose as me when they come here, LEARNING. Learning anything you don’t know from anyone, including your teacher, your friends, your team mates. Learning is very important to everyone, but the most important thing is the process of learning. We are learning not only from the bookds, but also from discussion, teamworking, negotiation, collaboration, alliance, agreement, disagreement and so on. One thing should not be neglected during the process, that is understanding and appreciation (sorry I steal the word from Rui’s blog). So I appreciate for the everything they have done and everyone. So many times I say thank you in my heart. Thank you for your understanding, supporting, encouraging and advising, also thank you for your patience, listening and persuading.

So far, I have learnt one thing, maybe the most important thing, understanding. Understand my friends, my classmates, and even my self. Moreover, try my best to understand other people’s situation and position.

leader and leadership

After the group meeting in the learning grid, there is one thing still hanging around my head: Leader.We have talked about the leadership quite a lot, and even used the matrix table to discuss about the aspects mentioned by the 20 definitions. Apart from that, I also believe the leadership is a kind of ability or capability leading people to share and move into the vision.
In this extent, I am quite doubt about the leadership of the leader in my working career. They are leaders just because they are in the position rather than having the ability to manage and lead the group. In the real life I have experienced a few people who desperate want to be a leader just because they can get more benefits from the organization, or being a leader gives them a powerful feeling to control something and give an order.
Actually we can see the leadership everywhere, in a academic group project, in a company, even in a family. We can feel that naturally throughout the process.
Also, leadership, in my opinion, is a internal virtue sometimes, it encourages people to take the responsibility, not only acquiring, but also giving.

Writing a blog gives me the same feeling of writing a diary. So many things want to share with folks, but don’t know where to start. Just enjoy it.
