Wallingford Bunkfest

Spent last Saturday at the Wallingford Bunkfest. Didn’t know what to expect- but it turned out to be an interesting mix of morris dancers, real ale and folk-music.

Can’t believe I bought a didgeridoo!! That’ll entertain my neighbours! As I was sitting at the busstop on the way back, practising (!) a bloke walked past who’d had a lesson with Rolf Harris (Mr Didgeridoo himself) once. Can’t beat that, eh? It’s not the most tuneful of instruments, but if you use your teeth and do little shrieks and coughs, you can get a whole range of weird and wonderful sounds…

Spot the difference between my position and the real pro though…

According to their website , you can book these Hook Eagle Morris Men to deal with all sorts of problems:

Bookings also accepted for Major Events, Festivals, Weddings and other festive occasions (perhaps if you don’t like your new in-laws?)
