The expert's opinion!

Was flicking through the freebie Tesco magazine last night and spotted this article written by "expert" Alison Bell!

  1. Is it really you? Or another Alison Bell?

Are you doing a Dave Gorman ?

  2. Alison Bell

It's not me… but I love swimming, and to be honest I can't see anything in the "expert tips" that I couldn't have come up with!

Confession time: I must admit that I do occasionally do a "google" search to see what my namesakes are up to (surely I can't be the only one who does that?) and there are loads of us! Below are just a handful:

There's one Alison Bell who "produces stylish yoga clothes that are practical; in comfortable fabric that wears and washes well."

I'm also Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Washington and Lee University…

I'm a lecturer at the University of New South Wales…

I'm an academic in the school of Bio Sci at Bangor Uni…

I'm a Clinical Academic Group and Research Business Manager at Manchester Uni…

(there do seem to be a lot of us who work at universities!!)

I specialise in Employment Law at BondPearce solicitors…

My favourite was when one namesake was arrested with James Hewitt (the former lover of Princess Di) for supplying and possessing cocaine… She is a news reader (was on Sky News) and was dating Prince Edward at one point…

I wouldn't have thought it's that common a name– but it's certainly not very exclusive, that's for sure!!
