Things are looking up

I'm finally feeling good about things now, only a week tomorrow until my exams are over, 5 out of 9 left. Also, plans are beginning to come together for my 21st birthday, even though it's still months away, all very exciting!

England's World Cup Squad

For those of you who haven't seen it yet, here is the squad announced a few moments ago:

Robinson (Tottenham), James (Manchester City), Green (Norwich); G Neville (Manchester United), Ferdinand (Manchester United), Terry (Chelsea), Cole (Arsenal), Campbell (Arsenal), Carragher (Liverpool), Bridge (Chelsea), Beckham (Real Madrid), Carrick (Tottenham), Lampard (Chelsea), Gerrard (Liverpool), Hargreaves (Bayern Munich), Jenas (Tottenham), Downing (Middlesbrough), J Cole (Chelsea), Lennon (Tottenham), Rooney (Manchester United), Owen (Newcastle), Crouch (Liverpool), Walcott (Arsenal).

Standby:
Carson (Liverpool), Young (Charlton), Reo–Coker (West Ham), Defoe (Tottenham), Johnson (Crystal Palace).

I just have to ask, what was Sven thinking, no Darren Bent or Shaun Wright–Phillips in the squad or on standby, but Theo Walcott, who hasn't made his debut for Arsenal is in the squad. This means if Rooney isn't fit for our first game, which is quite likely, Walcott is third choice behind Owen and Crouch, and Owen hasn't played a full game for a long time as well! I sure hope Gerrard and Lampard have their shooting boots with them in Germany!

Nerves

Well it's that time of the term I have been absolutely dreading, the second year essay presentation, I'm not sure how other people feel, but I find the thought of giving a 15 minute presentation absolutely terrifying, especially on maths. How is everybody else feeling about this, I have the material and know the subject well enough, but…

We're Baaaaack!

Well, it's now 2006 and back at University, and even though it's been a month since we were in Uni, and lots of things have changed, it seems as though I was at Uni yesterday, back to lectures, assignments and exams! Ah well, better than being bored at home all day.

The Library

So, I decided upon my second year essay, even withdrew some books to help do the aforementioned essay, everything seemed great, then I suddenly receive an e-mail from the library stating they want 3 of the 4 books I ordered back for the 10/12! Now, seeing as they are on a 2 week lease, they wont need returning by this other person until christmas, when I assume the library will be closed, so basically I am left without 3 of my most useful books, terrific! It seems I can go 1 of the 3 books from the University Of Leicester, but in order to do so, I have to go to Warwick, to get a pass to get a book from my local Universities Library, what a farce!

Second Year essay

Ok, I dont know how everyone else is finding second year essay, but I am really struggling to find a topic to write about, which is even more distressing since everyone else seems to know exactly what they are doing! I'm toying with doing something algebraic, possibly matrices, but so far have come up dry on an esay title

Hoping I get something sorted soon or else I could be in a spot of bother, if anyone has any ideas they are more than welcome to share them with me… please

Bowling

So…

Went bowling for the first time in a really long time, and lets just say….. it didn't go so well :(. Was a good laugh though, "Andy, get off the dance mat for gods sake!!!!!" Think I'll stick to something that's more my forté unless Natalie is drunk again.

Now where's that American Football gone…..?
