Top 3
Follow-up to Top 3 from The Land of the Bashmore
Aaaaalrite then music fans…last month we saw a plethora (but the thesaurus down Bashmore) of intriguing choices for everyones Top 3 for April…with quite a heavy Indie slant.
So here we go again…what is everyone's Top 3 songs for this month…can be absolutely anything…and yes I'll even allow Phil Collins (euch i need to cleanse myself now for saying that)
So to kickstart the proceedings….here's my top 3
- Best Of You - Foo Fighters
(listening an average every few hours…i cant help it, i love this song) - The One You Love - Rufus Wainwright
(this man is superb, such a great songwriter; off his Want Two album) - Pledge of Allegiance - Louis XIV
(great new US rock band…naughty little song about getting it on with a dirty bird!)

tough choices, but this month, my Top 3 was based on good songs to drive along to in the sunshine.

'The One You Love' is a belting song. Saw him live over Easter and that song for me was the highlight of his set. All four of his albums are great as well.
My top 3, in no particular order, are probably:
1. Apply Some Pressure – Maximo Park (jumpin on the bandwagon)
2. Run to Her – Five O'clock Heroes (brilliant song, very catchy)
3. This Must Be the Place – Talking Heads (One of my favourite songs ever by one of my favourite bands. Been listening o it a lot recently. If you haven't heard it listen to it right now it's spellbinding)
