Heart of England Excellence in Tourism Award – Woodhouse Farm Cottages

Delighted to announce that a B2B member and client Woodhouse Farm Cottages in Herefordshire has won a prestigious tourism award.

The business picked up the Heart of England Excellence in Tourism Gold Award for Best Self-Catering Holiday of the Year.

Sue Furnival, of Woodside, kindly commented that it was news of their development of a mobile version of their website that seemed to grab the judges' attention.

Rayhan Abdulmughnee, the B2B Centre's Mobile and Wireless expert, has advised the business on how to make sure that their new website will work correctly on new devices such as the Apple iPhone.  Rayhan sees this as a must for many business.

"The next 2-3 years will see a massive increase in the number of mobile devices that have high speed internet access.  All businesses will need to check that their sites work on such devices.  Businesses that generate sales from roaming clients (like accomodation providers, destinations and visitor attractions) should be looking to steal a march on their competitors...now."
