sniff.. the failure of a microbiologist (sort of)
Have got sequences back.Judgement has been passed. Most of them are good, but one of them failed(sob), and quite a few of them were messy and have been sent back for further analysis.
Sniff. After all the love, care and attention I have spent on them. It's all been a waste. Ultimately they didn't make the grade. I guess I should show love and support, but I can't help feeling a little disappointed. I've tried, so hard to be there with them and hold their little flagellae and extract their DNA and amplifiy it and give it a clean up. I did everything the manual told me too. I guess there's just no controlling some bacteria. They will rebel.
Damnit. Also means will have to redo lots. Shite.
don't worry life could be worse, you could be on a break from learning about algebraic curves…

Don't worry, it doesn't mean you're a bad parent. Sometimes these things just happen to your little ones and there's nothing you can do about it. At least you're there for them now, and that's what really matters.

Oooh, algebraic curves. Now they sound like fun!! Can I have a go? Can I? Pleeease?? I'll be good I promise!!
Destruction complete. Heheh :)
Thing is now can no longer be arsed to be with them. I'm fed up with them. Two more weeks though and I never have to think about them again. (Unless I'm asked about them in a viva. Eek!)

Ooh!yay! Have had sequences reanalysed, and the one that failed is now only messy and most of the messy ones are now Good :)
Happy Anna!
(Now I just have align them all and figure out what they mean… groan…)
