Ageing

Bless my mother..She gets a digital camera, promptly emails all three of her children to proclaim this fact (though she is technologically inept and as a result the email came in a very odd format) with a lovely photo of my granny.

This is my granny. She's nearly 89 and she rocks. 6 children, married her professor(completley self obsessed academic) at the age of 21. Used to get under the family car to fix it when it regularly broke down. Does just about every charitable thing going. Looks after all of her friends. Can recite poetry at the drop oif a hat. One of the wisest people I know, with a wicked sense of humour.

I can only dream of being like her when I'm older. I've been thinking a lot about getting older recently (no idea why, maybe it's the whole graduation/job prospect) and seeing as how it's inevitable I figure the only thing to keep on doing is smile.

After all, you should fall in love with someone's eyes and/or smile, because they're the only things that never age.
