German Christmas Market in Brimingham.
Yesterday I got the opportunity of visiting German christmas Market (Weinnachtmarkt) in Birmingham and it make me remember all my sweet memories of Tuebingen last year. Last year I was in Tuebingen (a student city in south of Germany) at christmas time. Christmas in Germany is very interesting. At least a month before christmas they start christmas celebrations. All the towns start looking red, partly with the joy of christmas and partly with the warm scent of Gluewine (and partly because it is extremely cold :) ). City centers are crowded with little shops from local villagers and you can feel christmas written all over the faces of happy people.
Enough said about deutsch weinnacht. Let us come back to christmas in kingdom. Iwent to birmingham yesterday and had lot of shopping. There were some flavour of weinnachtmarkt to the market. There were gluewine, crepes(pfannkucken), bretzel, lot of beer and some other interesting german shops. There were these red-indian also selling some of their CDs and playing some instrument. I liked their music but it was bit sad and who want to be sad on christmas,. So I dont think they can sell lot of CDs in this season.

One final observation. Snow is completely missing from this christmas. Is it because of global warming?
